Admission is Now Open for the National Section!
Admission Guidelines:
- School welcomes students from Egypt and from all over the world.
- Acceptance at Sama College requires an assessment in language, reading, writing and math.
- A non-refundable application fee should be submitted before the assessment.
- Entry is based on the result of assessment, parents interview and the availability of places.
- No place can be reserved without the payment of the first fees installment.
- Parents are notified within 5 Days with their child’s assessment results via an email.
- A formal acceptance letter will be issued and parents will be advised of the entry date.
- If a place is not immediately available, the child’s name will be placed on a waiting list.
- School fees are due before student enrollment.
- Sama College’s second languages are German and Spanish (for the semi-international section you shall choose one of them).
- Students can enroll in the school’s course or study at Goethe or the Spanish Center and get a certificate for passing the basic levels.
- This course is required for students who did not study these languages in their previous academic years, beginning in Grade 2 and continuing through Grade 10.
Admission Requirements:
• Transferred students’ report cards and behavioral records from their previous schools are required and are considered in the admission process.
Preschool:
In October of the year that children are 3 years, they can join the preschool class. Only potty train children are accepted.
Kindergarten applicants are assessed based on their cognitive, communication ability and motor skills.
KG1 & KG2:
In October of the year that children are 4 years, they can join the Early Year’s department. Both the American and National Schools are available for enrollment.
Grade 1:
Students applying for places in grade 1 should have some skills in writing and reading skills for English, Arabic and Math.
Grade 2:
Students applying for places in grade 2 must have prior knowledge of English (speaking, reading and writing) and Arabic. At this age they will be expected to know how to read and write.
Grade 3 and above:
Students should have a good command of spoken and written English. Previous school report and entrance tests in English, Arabic and Mathematics will be required.
Official documentation required for registration:
A complete application form (all needed information should be completed)
• 2 Birth certificates.
• A copy of parents’ ID.
• Medical form (from our school’s Medical Doctor)
• 4 Recent photos of the student.
• Previous school records if transferring from another school and transfer eligibility document authenticated by the Local Educational authority. Students coming from abroad will be advised of the requirement by the admission office.
